This first-time event will feature melodious music on the front lawn, and a delightful picnic (modestly priced), of “Hot Dogs, Brats & Burgers” with all the trimmings from 5-7 pm. Food pre-sale tickets are available today. The $12 family pre-sale ticket buys 4 sandwiches, 8 sides, and 4 drinks. The single $3 ticket buys one sandwich, 2 sides, and one drink. What a bargain – get yours now! See Gay today for tickets. There will be fun and games for all ages throughout the event. “SPECIAL” added attractions will include corn hole, face painting, a cakewalk, fresh-popped corn, and a DUNK TANK! Scott, Mark, Rich & Wayne have “volunteered” to make a big splash. More volunteers are needed as well. (Two balls for $1 is the bargain basement price!!!) 6th Annual Milford Area CROP Walk   MFUMC, 2009-10-04 14:00:00 - 2009-10-04 17:00:00

Coming Sunday, Oct 4. We will start from our church at 2:00 pm. Several area churches participate in this fun activity. Pick up a registration packet and ask friends and family to sponsor you with a donation as you make a 1- mile or 5 K walk through Old Milford. The money raised helps dig wells for those who need safe access to clean water and teaches sustainable agriculture to those in poverty around the world. One quarter of the money raised supports Milford Miami Ministries. If you can’t walk yourself, then please consider sponsoring a walker from our church. Please plan to join us for this special day in the life of our church. The funds committed on this day provide most of the money we need to Share God’s Love With ALL as Milford First UMC. Our various fund raisers help but over 95% of our income comes from people keeping the estimates of giving made on Consecration Sunday. We need to know if you will or will not be able to join us. So we can adequately prepare for the Celebration/Appreciation Brunch after both services. You will be asked to please return a Green Reservation cards that will be passed out at church on the Sundays leading up to Oct 25th. The Rev.
