Local & Global Partners

Our community is everything to us. Milford First touches lives locally, regionally, and around the world, making God’s love known by caring for people and places in need.

Program Partners

We work alongside several local organizations to create programming that serves the needs of our community, creating safe spaces for people to all ages to find healing, wholeness and hope through Christ’s love.

  • Valley View Foundation is a 190-acre nature preserve located just over a mile from the church. The property is home to more than five miles of public trails, along with Milford's first community garden. Our members have helped tend to the garden, which produces food that is shared with several local food pantries.

  • Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one Christian caregiving program currently utilized in over 13,000 congregations around the world. Since 1999, Stephen Ministers at Milford First have helped over 100 care receivers cope with challenging situations that life has thrown their way.

  • Milford Exempted Village Schools serves approximately 6,600 students through nine school buildings in Milford. We’ve worked with the district on various initiatives over the years. Our WonderKids program partners with five elementary schools to provide after-school literacy help to nearly 50 students each week.

  • Child Focus provides a broad range of early learning, mental health, school, foster care and community services. to more than 20,000 children, families and adults across our region each year. We’ve utilized their experience to resource families and offer mental health workshop to our community.
