About the Group

HORNspell is a quartet of French horns formed a year and half ago by four community musicians, David Horne, Patrick Hunt, Heidi Rowles and Constance Sanders to perform the sizable niche repertoire for horn quartet. We have played recitals at the Clermont County Library and the studio at Cincinnati Children's Hospital that broadcasts to all the rooms in the hospital. But our primary emphasis has been performance in churches, as an act of praise with the object of enhancing the worship experience. Our repertoire extends from the Renaissance to contemporary popular music.
