Our hearts are with the communities impacted by the tornadoes that recently caused catastrophic destruction throughout the South and Midwest, particularly the hard-hit areas in our neighboring state of Kentucky and families of those within our own congregation. Here are a few ways that you can offer support during this difficult time.

Tornado Relief Efforts

Relief for St. Clair Farms

The Milford First community experiences the beautiful gift of music the Carpenter family shares with our congregation on a weekly basis. Tracy Carpenter's family farm was among the many properties destroyed during the recent tornados in Western Kentucky. This four-generation farm has been a staple in the community, and now the family faces uncertainty having lost animals, farm equipment and several historic structures. To help them rebuild, you can donate in the following ways:

Online: Select the "Relief for St. Clair Farms" fund category when you give online via Faithlife, or give directly to the fund by clicking here

Text: Simply text the word "Give" with the amount and fund name to (513) 216-4505. (e.g. Give $100 Relief for St. Clair Farms)

In-Person: Drop off your donation in the church office or designate your gift as "Relief for St. Clair Farms" when you give as part of your weekly offering during Sunday worship.

UMCOR Disaster Response & Recovery

The United Methodist Committee on Relief is the global humanitarian aid and development organization of The United Methodist Church. UMCOR responds to disasters in the United States and around the world by working with communities and local partners. When a disaster overwhelms a community’s ability to recover on its own, UMCOR provides essential relief supplies and supports long-term rebuilding efforts. When you give to UMCOR's US Disaster Response and Recovery fund, 100% of your donation will be used for ongoing efforts.
