We often spend the holiday season preparing for the promised gift of Christmas morning. But what happens during Advent? The journey to Bethlehem offers us a chance to remember the gifts we've been given by God – gifts of Hope, Love, Joy and Peace. Join us as we explore how these gifts are changing lives through a few of the ministries at Milford First!

Ways to Give and Serve

The holiday season is an opportunity to be a blessing to others. Below are just a few ways that you can extend love to those in our community this holiday season.

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.
On those living in a pitch-dark land, light has dawned."

Sponsor a Luminary Kit

Light up a life as you light up the church this Christmas! A $10 gift will purchase 10 candles and other supplies for luminaries that will surround the church on Christmas Eve. Additional funds from each sale will be used to help our youth group purchase Christmas gifts for Milford children in need.

Honor a Loved One

When you purchase a luminary, you can also choose to dedicate your gift in honor or memory of a loved one. Names of those honored will be listed in our Christmas Eve worship bulletin and on our Advent webpage.

Contact Corina Atherton, director children and family ministries, to purchase a luminary and honor a loved one.

*Dedication of luminaries replaces poinsettia dedications from previous years

Christmas Coat Drive
We're excited to partner with Christian Family Credit Union and Milford Miami Ministry by collecting coats for local families in need this holiday season! Now through Dec. 5, you can drop off new, unworn coats of all sizes at the church. Coat racks are located in the Narthex and Welcome Center.
Milford Miami Ministry Giving Tree
Stop by the Welcome Center to choose a name from the tree to sponsor a child this Christmas. Each name on the tree includes three gift tags with gift ideas and sizes. Please wrap each of the three gifts separately and tape a name tag on each. Place all three gifts in the bag provided and tape the white family tag to the front. Gifts are due no later than Sunday, Dec 5 and can be placed in bags under the tree.
