Stephen Ministers are God’s representatives who bring his love to those who are hurting. God is making a difference in their lives.

A friend of mine gave me a little book from Hallmark about friendship. In it is a quote from Karl Menninger entitled “Someone Who Understands”, and it goes like this: The friends who listen to us are the ones we move toward, and we want to sit in their radius. When we are listened to, it creates us, makes us unfold and expand.

Sometimes we’re our own worst enemy, trying to keep our worries and cares to ourselves instead of reaching out to another. Do yourself a favor, call today for a confidential, caring person to walk with you through your difficult time. It’s amazing how much better one can feel when one realizes he or she does not have to go it alone.   

Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, ready to listen, care for and encourage you, pray with and for you, to help you through whatever it is that you are facing. Men are matched with male Stephen Ministers and women are matched with female Stephen Ministers. It’s free. It’s confidential. And it will make a difference in your life!
